The North South University Postgraduate Alumni Association (NSUPGAA) represents a focused chapter within the broader legacy of North South University (NSU), Bangladesh’s pioneering private university established in 1992. As NSU grew into a leading institution offering advanced postgraduate programs—including MBA, EMBA, MS, MPhil, and PhD degrees—the need emerged for a dedicated platform tailored to the unique experiences, achievements, and networks of its postgraduate graduates.
While the university’s overall alumni ecosystem has roots dating back to its early days, with the Office of Alumni Affairs (OAA) formally established in February 2015 to bridge connections between NSU and its global alumni community, postgraduate alumni often sought more specialized engagement. This led to the formation of NSUPGAA as a distinct association, recognizing that Master’s and doctoral alumni frequently pursue advanced careers in research, leadership, academia, consulting, and entrepreneurship—paths that benefit from targeted networking, mentorship at senior levels, and collaboration on high-impact initiatives.
NSUPGAA builds directly on the foundation of the wider NSU Alumni Association (NSUAA) and university-supported alumni efforts, while carving out its own identity to serve postgraduates specifically. Our community has grown steadily alongside the expansion of NSU’s postgraduate offerings, drawing strength from thousands of alumni who have graduated over the decades and now hold influential positions in Bangladesh and internationally.
To become the most active, impactful, and globally recognized postgraduate alumni community in Bangladesh — a place where NSU postgraduates not only stay connected but also inspire, collaborate, and elevate each other to greater heights.
“From classroom discussions to boardroom decisions — the NSU postgraduate journey never truly ends. It evolves.”
If you are an NSU postgraduate alumnus/alumna, we warmly invite you to join us. Together, let’s build a powerful legacy that reflects the excellence of our education and the strength of our community.
